How to Open your Advanced SimRacing Simulator

Follow these simple steps to ensure that your Advanced SimRacing simulator is ready for action.

STEP 1: POWER UP YOUR PC

Start by turning on your PC. Look for the power button on top (it might be located somewhere else) of your PC case and press it once. Wait a few seconds for the LEDs to light up. Once the computer boots up, your screen should power on.

STEP 2: CHECK YOUR SCREEN

If your screen remains off after powering up your PC, locate the power button at the center of your monitor. Press it once and wait a few seconds for the screen to turn on.

STEP 3: ENSURE ALL PERIPHERALS ARE ON

Steering Wheel: Your steering wheel should light up to the color you selected during installation. For instance, if it’s set to red, it should glow red. If it’s not lit, one of your software components might not be running. (most likely SimHub)

Wheelbase: Check that your wheelbase is turned on by pressing the white button on the back of the Simucube. Also, ensure that the yellow kill switch is released; if it’s pressed, the system won’t work.

D-Box Motion System: On your Haptic Bridge, you should see four green lights (ethernet cable side) on one side and one yellow light (power side) on the other. The yellow light indicates that the system is on standby and functionnal.

Pedals: If you’re using loadcell pedals, ensure that you see their inputs in the pedals software.

Active Pedals: If you’re using active pedals, ensure they’re on by checking the light on the side. It should be green. If it’s white or red, there may be an issue with the calibration or power.

Soundbar: For your soundbar, use the remote provided. Press the on/off button on the top of the remote. When the soundbar is on, it will indicate this on the display.
