How to Troubleshoot Speaker Issues
Aug 05, 2024Audio is crucial for immersion, and losing it can significantly impact your racing experience. If you find yourself without sound, don’t worry—there are a few simple steps you can take to get your audio back on track.
STEP 1: CHECK THAT YOUR SOUND DEVICE IS POWERED ON
The first thing to verify is whether your soundbar or headset is turned on:
- Make sure that your audio device is powered up and that any necessary batteries or power sources are connected and functioning.
- If using a wireless headset, check that it's properly synced with its receiver.
STEP 2: SELECT THE CORRECT AUDIO OUTPUT
At the bottom left of your desktop, you should see a "sound" icon. Make sure you select the correct sound output. Check that the computer's volume isn’t muted or set too low, which could be causing the silence.
STEP 3: SELECT THE CORRECT AUDIO OUTPUT IN-GAME
Open the audio or sound settings in your game and make sure that the correct audio output device is selected. Check that the game’s volume isn’t muted or set too low, which could be causing the silence.
