As a SimRacer, having responsive and reliable pedals is essential for optimal performance. If your Simucube Active Pedals aren't working, it can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. This guide will walk you through the process of fixing common problems with Active Pedals.

STEP 1: CHECK THE LIGHT INDICATOR

The first thing to check is the purple light on the left-hand side of your pedal:

- If the light is purple, this means your pedal is powered on but not active.
- To activate it, open your pedal’s software and click on "Start Device". This should switch your pedal from standby mode to active mode
- If you see a white or red light, move on to the next step.

STEP 2: POWER CYCLE YOUR ACTIVE PEDAL

Sometimes, simply cycling the power can resolve issues:

- Locate the on-off switch on the back of the pedal.
- Turn the pedal off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Repeat Step 1.

This power cycle can reset the pedal's system and fix minor glitches or connectivity issues.
