How to Troubleshoot your D-Box System

You’ve just entered your race session, and suddenly, you notice that your D-Box system isn’t working. Don’t worry—here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

STEP 1: CHECK THAT HAPTIC BRIDGE LIGHTS

The first thing to do is to check the lights on the Haptic Bridge:

Ethernet Side: Make sure all of the lights are green. This indicates that your D-Box system is communicating correctly with your setup.

Power Side: There should be one light on this side. If it’s yellow, your system is on standby but functional. However, if you see a red light, it means something has gone wrong.

STEP 2: POWER CYCLE

If you notice a red light or your system isn’t working, try power cycling the Haptic Bridge:

1. Unplug the power cable from the Haptic Bridge.
2. Wait for a few seconds to ensure that the four solid green lights turn off.
3. Replug the power cable back in. Initially, the lights will flash, then turn solid green.

When the lights are solid green, your Haptic Bridge is fully functional, and the system should be ready to use.

STEP 3: CHECK USB CONNECTIONS

Next, ensure that your USB cable is properly plugged in:

Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to your USB hub or directly to your computer.
